Culebra has hiking trails leading to gorgeous, secluded beaches. Some of the hikes are more challenging than others. The most difficult hike is through a trail in the Resaca Boulder Forest heading to Resaca Beach. The hike to Brava beach is another good hike. Brava and Resaca are not ideal for swimming as the waves and currents can be very powerful. Great beaches to walk, photograph and listen to the crashing waves. The hike to Carlos Rosario is short, but leads to some of the best snorkeling. The small island of Culebrita has hiking trails to the beach, tidal pools and to the old lighthouse ruins with spectacular panoramic views.
